“When a call came in to the north-end patrol division regarding a loose pit-bull in the area of Edison St. shortly after midnight last night, Ofc. Marc Felix saw it as a great opportunity to make a new friend.

We were happy to host our fun, four-legged guest and treat him to a tour of Station #3. He was particularly interested in our door stops, and was kind enough to allow us to play with a ball which he had apparently found somewhere in his travels and claimed as his own.

This good boy became so fond of the officers he met that he inquired about a permanent position in our K9 division. Should you know where his forever home is, please contact animal control where he will be crashing for the night.” -New Bedford Police Department.
