Accidents: June 23: A 201st Ave. caller reported a vehicle rolled over, ending on its side in water; Law enforcement reported an accident;

June 24: Law enforcement responded to a vehicle that hit an animal;

June 25: A Dorset caller reported a vehicle ran into the Dorset House, but there were no injuries; A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on County 40;

June 28: Law enforcement was flagged down about a vehicle hitting a tree; A County 18 caller reported a car in the ditch occupied by a male and female who were yelling at each other, and also a child;

June 29: A two-vehicle accident was reported.

Animal Related: June 23: A caller reported two horses on the road; A caller reported a brown horse out in the ditch; A Lakeport Twp. caller had questions about a dog she found June 22; A Nevis caller reported a black Lab showed up at their home with no collar, and caller posted it on Facebook and would keep the dog until claimed;

June 25: A caller reported about six dogs following people when they walk and harassing them;

June 26: A caller reported a deer hit by a vehicle was on the roadway, possibly needing to be put down, and had two fawns with it;

June 27: A Clay Twp. caller reported being bitten by a dog on June 26 while camping, and receiving seven stitches at the ER in Long Prairie; A Nevis Twp. caller reported baby raccoons had been in his yard for about a week, apparently abandoned;

June 28: A deer was reported lying in a lane of traffic, still alive; A U.S. Hwy. 71 caller in the Park Rapids area reported a chocolate Lab running in and out of traffic, then going to caller’s storage units;

June 29: A male stopped at a Beltrami County deputy’s patrol vehicle window to report he almost hit some horses on the roadway; A U.S. Hwy. 71 caller reported eight to 10 cows in the ditch.

Assaults/Harassment: June 23: A 147th Ave. caller reported someone got hold of pictures caller posted online and was trying to blackmail him; A Lakeport Twp. caller reported a tenant was upset about not getting a refund and said she “will come out there if she has to”;

June 25: A County 118 caller reported receiving threatening text messages;

June 26: A 309th St. caller said the father of her children called her to come and pick up the kids and was now acting irrational; An Akeley caller wanted to speak to an officer about harassment;

June 28: A White Oak Twp. caller reported someone threatening to steal caller’s boat when he leaves his cabin;

June 29: A detox patient assaulted a staff member at a facility near Nevis; A Lake Emma Twp. resort guest said she was assaulted by her sister.

Burglaries/Theft: June 24: A 175th Ave. caller reported a possible scam involving the organization she runs;

June 25: An elementary school hall door was activated in Laporte; Garage service door and overhead door alarms were activated in Mantrap Twp. but canceled with proper ID;

June 26: A basement door burglar alarm was activated in Lake Emma Twp.; A Mantrap Twp. caller reported a possible scam; Living room and master bedroom motion alarms were activated on County 37;

June 28: A door alarm was activated in Nevis and the keyholder was on standby; A front door alarm was activated on County 40; A County 18 caller reported a boat’s gas line was cut and fuel was taken within the past two weeks;

June 29: A basement motion alarm was activated in Henrietta Twp., but proper ID was entered to cancel; A 452nd St. caller reported he had an agreement to store equipment on a property and it was stolen; A County 39 caller reported a golf cart stolen during the last 10 minutes.

Fires: June 23: An upstairs bedroom smoke alarm was activated in Lakeport Twp.; An upstairs smoke alarm was activated in Lake Emma Twp. and alarm company had made no contact with keyholders;

June 25: A Lake Emma Twp. caller reported a lightning strike hit a tree, and it was now smoldering; A smoke sensor alarm was activated in Lake Emma Twp.;

June 26: Becker County requested mutual aid from the Park Rapids Fire Department for a fire on Becker County 47;

June 27: A residential fire alarm was activated on County 4;

June 29: A County 48 caller reported a truck was on fire but now seemed to be out, and caller wanted fire personnel to check it out.

Medical: June 23: An ambulance was requested in Rockwood Twp. for a female with back problems; An ambulance was requested in Straight River Twp. for someone having pain after a hip replacement;

June 24: An ambulance was requested in Akeley Twp. for a male who fell and was now lethargic and unable to comprehend things said; A lift assist was requested in Lake Emma Twp. for someone who fell; An ambulance was requested in Mantrap Twp. for an elderly male in a campground shelter, reported as breathing;

June 25: A lift assist was requested on County 16 for a female who fell but said she was uninjured; An ambulance was requested at a Clay Twp. campsite for an elderly male having chest pain; An ambulance was requested in Hubbard for a male with back pain, unable to get out of bed; An ambulance was requested in Henrietta Twp. for a female in her mid-30s having a seizure;

June 27: An ambulance was requested in Henrietta Twp. for someone having trouble breathing; An ambulance was requested on County 39 for an elderly female who fell June 26 and was having shoulder pain and wearing a neck brace;

June 28: A medical alarm was activated in Crow Wing Lake Twp. for someone feeling unwell and having difficulty breathing;

June 29: An ambulance was requested in Laporte for a male with an altered level of consciousness; An ambulance was requested in Todd Twp. for a 12-year-old who put their knee out of joint.

Miscellaneous: June 23: Law enforcement did multiple resort checks; A State Hwy. 226 caller reported a suspicious person walking around with no shirt, picking up cigarette butts; Law enforcement patrolled a kids’ bike rodeo on County 9;

June 24: A Sanford employee had a question about a piece of property; A 230th St. caller wanted to speak with an officer about someone’s safety; A Henrietta Twp. caller was scared about the weather and requested officer advice; Civil defense sirens were activated;

June 25: A County 48 caller reported his son threatening to go on the property and take things; A Guthrie Twp. caller reported someone trespassing on his property; A State Hwy. 34 caller reported a powerline was on the ground in his yard and caller had no power;

June 26: A Lakeport Twp. caller wanted a male removed from her property; A County 4 caller had month-old camera footage showing someone trespassing on his property; A Lake Emma Twp. caller reported an older aluminum boat drifted off in high winds on June 25; Law enforcement checked out a suspicious car in Park Rapids;

June 27: An electric company reported someone shot at a power pole on County 95, noting that neighbors heard several shots on June 25;

June 28: Law enforcement did multiple business checks in Nevis; A State Hwy. 34 caller reported trash all over the road near Park Rapids;

June 29: A suspicious male was reported standing in the middle of the highway; A Nevis area caller reported a noise complaint, describing people yelling, cussing and playing loud music; A County 93 caller reported child custody issues; Officer assist was requested in Park Rapids; A White Oak Twp. caller reported a neighbor pacing in their yard, yelling swear words; A Laporte caller asked to speak with a deputy about moving her couch while being evicted.

Traffic: June 23: A caller reported a small car traveling at high speed lost control at a corner, then left; An anonymous caller reported two motorcycles traveling at over 100 mph on U.S. Hwy. 2; A 398th St. caller reported an ATV tearing up the roadway; A Honda car was reported swerving between lane lines; Law enforcement checked out a vehicle for motorist assist;

June 24: Law enforcement approached a male out walking his bike; A caller reported a tree fell across County 18 and caller cut it up and moved it, but there was still debris on the roadway and it hit an electrical box; A caller reported four four-wheelers whose drivers were holding 1- to 2-year-old kids with bike helmets on; A caller reported a vehicle with a Redneck Towing logo speeding on U.S. Hwy. 71; A County 38 caller reported a tree blocking the entire roadway; A caller reported a tree blocking both lanes of a road;

June 25: A caller reported multiple trees down across County 40; A Lake Emma Twp. caller reported a tree on a power line; A tree on a power line was reported in Crow Wing Lake Twp.; A boat and water violation was reported; A boater reported he spoke with a boat and water officer earlier about a boat he was starting to have issues with, and now it had escalated and caller wanted to speak with the officer; A caller reported a Chevy truck pulling a boat with a possibly intoxicated driver;

June 26: A caller reported trees were blocking a stop sign, and caller almost didn’t stop because they couldn’t see it; Law enforcement controlled traffic for a parade; A low hanging tree was reported partially obstructing a lane of traffic; A 398th St. caller reported kids on four-wheelers tearing up and down the roadway;

June 27: Law enforcement assisted a motorist; Law enforcement stopped a boat on Garfield Lake; Law enforcement provided motorist assist; A Henrietta Twp. caller complained about a neighbor racing past their house and revving his engine;

June 28: A small SUV was reported almost hitting a pedestrian; A caller reported four people fishing at a bridge, saying this was too many and voicing concern about their safety as passing traffic was driving too fast; A Lakeport Twp. caller requested information about driving on township roads, saying they had a dispute with another person about their driving; A Pontiac Solstice was reported weaving back and forth and kicking up gravel;

June 29: A Todd Twp. caller had questions about ATV and OHV laws; A caller reported a tree down across half of a highway.
